The Skatepark of Taz 🛹
Le Taz Skatepark Montréal is the largest indoor skatepark in all of Canada. On my morning walks on August 17 and September 8, 2022, I photographed their outdoor skatepark. With its various forms of facilities for skateboarding, scootering, BMX and roller skating, the Taz is a unique place.
During my visit on August 17, a young man was skateboarding. He was very skilled and moved quickly. Seeing that I was taking pictures and not daring to venture out on the trail, he went to rest on a bench. With his head bent over his phone, I think he was playing a game or texting. Meanwhile, I hurried around the trail and took my photos. 10-15 minutes later, I thanked him for his kindness. He was proud to tell me that this entire trail was built by hand. I have to admit that they did a great job, because it is really pleasant to walk there.
On my second visit, I was alone at the skatepark. I took the opportunity to explore and photograph this incredible place without forgetting its numerous graffities.
Note, to show you the Taz skatepark, I chose my best photos, so they are not necessarily in order of shooting. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them while walking around this somewhat unreal looking place. All photos were taken between 7 and 8 am. I straightened, cropped, and made automatic adjustments to several photos.
